How to dress a really deep flapping cut?

I cut the tip of my finger with sharp scissors today. It is really deep but the skin is still attached. How should I dress it? I am a florist and use my hands all day in dirty situations but the skin attached may be pulled back I don't want to infect it. It's very sore still swell. Thanks
